Why Timestamp scan is efficient
The server requests a short audio window around the selected position instead of downloading an entire long video. That reduces transfer, queue time and unnecessary provider requests.
A timestamp embedded in a YouTube link can be read automatically, or you can enter seconds, MM:SS and H:MM:SS. For a transition, choose a point after the new song becomes clearly audible.
When to move the timestamp
If the selected moment contains only speech, silence or a sound effect, recognition has no useful musical fingerprint. Move 10–20 seconds into a section with stable melody or drums.
