If the video appears to contain one main song, Quick checks a small set of useful moments and stops after a confident match. When several songs appear throughout a vlog, compilation or set, Full scan is the appropriate choice. A known moment is best handled with Timestamp scan.
This choice matters because a broader scan performs more downloads and recognition attempts. It is not automatically more accurate for a single song; it simply searches more moments.

How to judge the result
Open the timestamp and compare the returned recording with the original video. A provider may identify the underlying release while the video uses a remix, live performance or sped-up edit.
